EPDM Anchor Bands are a popular choice among those in the Aquaculture Industry. Specifically,  these bands can be used with a Breizhook to firmly anchor into the mesh of Oyster Grow Bags to keep them securely closed. This bypasses the need to utilize single-use zip ties which are harmful to the environment.

OTHER BOATING & MARINE USES:

Typical applications in the Boating / Marine Industry include the bundling of hoses and cables. This is due to the fact that in addition to being UV resistant, EPDM rubber is also resistant to a wide range of fluids including water, ethylene glycol, mild acids, and synthetic fluids.

• Elongation: 600% Maximum
• Durometer (Hardness) Range: 30-90 Shore A
• Good electrical insulation properties
• Low electrical conductivity
• Adhesion to metals: Fair to Good
• Solvent resistance: Poor
• Oil resistance: Poor
